Orb of Art Object

There is a universe captured in a unique art object. Glass hemispheres are casted starting with specialty glass sheets made in Portland, Oregon and Baja California, Mexico.

The glass undergoes three kiln fires to eventually reach its final shape. As with each fire, the design elements of color, shade and light become more sophisticated. Deep colors are playfully layered to create “eye candy”.

The artist sets the two hemispheres into a hand-forged steel ring. The art object interacts with light, nature and its surroundings. It’s durable construction is suitable for both indoor and year-round outdoor garden installations.

Place them in a window, a table-setting or as part of your home decor. Hang them on trees, patios and outdoor living spaces. Add a little piece of sunshine into your universe.
